This page explains what we collect when you sign up on lundebenoni.com and what we do with it. We keep this as short and plain as possible.

Who we are

lundebenoni.com is operated jointly by Christian Lunde and Espen Benoni, both based in Oslo, Norway. Together we are the data controllers for any personal data submitted through this site.

You can reach us at hello@lundebenoni.com.

What we collect

When you submit the signup form on the landing page, we store:

  • Your email address
  • The date and time you submitted
  • Your IP address and browser user agent

We do not use cookies, analytics, ad trackers, or session storage. We do not enrich your email against third-party data sources.

Why we collect it

We collect your email so we can send you occasional updates about what we're working on — what we're building, what we're thinking about, and what we're close to releasing. The IP address and user agent are kept for security (to detect and block abuse of the signup form), never for profiling.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us — see below.

How long we keep it

We keep your email for as long as you want to hear from us. Every update we send includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can email us to be removed at any time — we'll delete your entry within a few days. If we stop sending updates altogether, we'll delete the full list.

Who else sees it

Your data is stored in our database hosted by Supabase (Supabase Inc., USA) on infrastructure in the EU (Stockholm, Sweden). Supabase acts as our data processor under a standard processing agreement. No other third party receives your data.

We will never sell, rent, or share your email, and we won't use it for anything other than the updates described above.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Have it corrected if it's wrong
  • Have it deleted (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Have its processing restricted
  • Receive it in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.no)

To exercise any of these, email hello@lundebenoni.com and we'll handle it within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you've already signed up, we'll email you about significant changes before they take effect.
